In as few words as possible, FOC by Nandu Jubany at Hong Kong Street is presently the best Spanish tapas restaurant in Singapore. Bar none.
Reasonably priced, exquisitely executed, stylishly decorated and with wonderful service. What more could one ask for in a dining experience? Oh…did I mention that it doubles up as a cocktail bar?
FOC’s version of scrambled eggs – Delectable!
Dou Miao filled Taco
Choice of Ham or Mushroom Croquettes – Stunning
Pork Jowl Confit
Deep Fried Calamari
Squid Ink Paella
Hokkaido Scallop with Soy Caviar (Sago…hehe)
Bread with Fresh Tomato Paste – Simple yet delectable
Chocolate Galaxy – Which is just really profiterole with chocolate sauce
Foie Gras Sliders – Talk about sinful
They do some pretty damn good lambchops too…I’m serious…
Patatas Bravas (Fried Potato) – I don’t know how they sliced these suckers but they were awesome.
As close to perfect a dining experience you’ll get in Singapore. No – I didn’t eat all of this at one go – the photos above were shot over the course of two attendances. Ahem 😛 Five stars out of five. Die die must try! (otherwise what’s the point of reviewing right).
